Boutique and fast-growing management consultancy thevaluecircle is proud to be among the very first UK companies to sign up to Terra Carta, alongside global businesses and leaders including Unilever, AstraZeneca and Sir Jonny Ive’s LoveFrom. 

Meaning earth charter, the initiative is intended to create a global ‘coalition of the willing’ who share the vision around the need to accelerate global progress towards a sustainable future.

It was launched by HRH The Prince of Wales on 11 January 2021 at the One Planet Summit in France, and thevaluecircle is in the first cohort of leading organisations to pledge support.

thevaluecircle’s managing partner, David Cockayne, said: “The Terra Carta offers the basis of a recovery plan to bring together businesses and sustainability like never before.

“We are excited to be part of this approach and be one of the very first to examine how we can play our part in this movement of change.”

Terra Carta was announced exactly one year after HRH The Prince of Wales launched his Sustainable Markets Initiative at Davos. It offers the basis of a recovery plan to 2030 that puts Nature, People and Planet at the heart of global value creation.

Deriving its name from the historic Magna Carta, which inspired a belief in the fundamental rights and liberties of people over 800 years ago, the Terra Carta aims to reunite people and planet, by giving fundamental rights and value to Nature, ensuring a lasting impact and tangible legacy for this generation.
