Tom Mytton

Tom has a significant track record in providing strategic advice, governance support and organisational development across multiple sectors.

Tom specialises in corporate governance, assurance, and board development and has more than eight years’ experience supporting organisations in healthcare, government, higher education, sports and the voluntary sectors. He has led significant quality improvement, redesign and strategy support programmes with clients across the UK, giving him insight into best practice delivery.

Tom began his career in Parliament advising both a former Minister and a Secretary of State. Following this, he led operational delivery for a governance consultancy for three years. He subsequently joined PwC’s Forensic Services and Governance advisory team in a senior role, leading on a range of governance improvement, strategy development and organisational turnaround programmes, resulting in the redesigning of services, reduction in costs and improving organisational performance outcomes. To Tom’s pride, a number of these organisations have since been nationally recognised for improvements made to their governance and quality reporting. 

In 2020, Tom was nominated as a Rising Star in ICSA’s National Governance Awards– recognising further his leading governance work with our clients.

Tom is currently a Trustee of the Wandsworth Care Alliance, a partnership organisation in the local public health economy of Wandsworth. He has been an advisor to the governance committee of the national charity, Crohn’s & Colitis UK. Tom holds a BA in Politics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.
